Through her company The Powerful Presenter, Sharon Brewer transforms theatre expertise into applications business professionals can use to improve presentation skills and business communication.

Her career of over thirty years as a professional in the communication business includes work as an actor on stage, on screen, in voice-overs, directing, teaching acting, and coaching presentation and communication skills.

Sharon coaches people in the corporate, legal, financial, theological, sales, hospitality, sports, and non-profit arenas, offering individual and group training.

Her clients include The Home Depot, Bryan Cave LLP, Plum Creek, RefrigiWear, CARE USA, Diaz Foods, Emory Center for Ethics, Panasonic, Georgia State University, SMC3, Central Presbyterian Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and The United Methodist Church of North Georgia.

Sharon is the founder and principal instructor for the Business Communication & Presentation Skills training program for the Alliance Theatre. She serves as a Lead Teaching Artist with the Alliance Theatre Acting Program, and has an MFA in Acting from the University of Virginia.

Sharon is a graduate of Leadership Buckhead and served as Chair of the Leadership Development Institute, Co-Chair of the Board, and facilitator of the Institute’s team building retreats and programs.
